UDISE+, also known as, The Unified District Information System for Education Plus was introduced by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Government of India in 2018-19. Now it is functioning in all the districts of the country. It collects all the necessary details related to the school.
What is UDISE+?
UDISE code is a national-level unique identifier given to the schools which are onboarded on the platform. Government and private schools from pre-primary to higher secondary levels have to register themselves to provide correct and complete information regarding Schools.

Eligibility for UDISE+
Every school registered in India is eligible to apply for the UDISE Code whether it is situated in any state or union territories. Schools must give correct information for the registration.
UDISE+ Registration Process
1. The school should visit the district MIS officer with the required documents of the school.
2. Through ‘School Directory Management’ on the UDISE+ website the district MIS Officer will apply for the code and the request will go to the state MIS user for approval.
3. The state MIS user verifies the application and contacts the district level in case of any clarification. The state-level MIS user has the authority for the generation of the UDISE Code.
4. After completing the verification, the state-level MIS officer sends the application to the Ministry of Education for generating the UDISE Code.

To login to the UDISE Plus portal follow the given below steps:-
1- Open the official website of UDISE+ by clicking on this link https://udiseplus.gov.in/#/en/page/oldlink
2- Go to “login for all modules”
3- Click on “login for school directory/user management” to log in to the school.
4- Enter your username, password, and captcha.
