Central Public School is alternatively known as CPS. The school was established in 2008. Central Public School is a co-educational school affiliated with the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). The school was founded by Mr. P.K. Bhaduri (M.A. (Eng), M.Ed), an eminent educationist, nationally awarded teacher, and author, with the purpose of not merely preparing children for employment, but creating a love for lifelong learning in them, enabling them to live meaningful lives. which makes Central Public School one of the best schools in Barrackpore and Barasat locality.
