RAMJAS SCHOOL PUSA ROAD Admission and Teachers in Ramjas School The Cult of Rai Kedar Nath Ramjas Lala jiRai Kedar Nath was the founder of Ramjas Foundation. Ramjas Schools attempt to create a cult of personality around him. Lets delve deeper into this subject. Rai Kedar Nath was born in a rich family. He studied at Mission School in Daryaganj which was one of top most expensive convent schools. He became a Session Judge of the British era and was most famous for jailing independence movement and Satyagraha activists. In 1912, he acquired large swathes of land in then undeveloped Anand Parbat. According to a court filing, there are thousand of tenants who pay rent to Ramjas Foundation. This is besides the 16 schools, 1 Ramjas College and a dozer acre sports centre in West Patel Nagar. Today also, Ramjas Foundation is run by small number of buisnessmen and arms dealers. While they are making large amount of money, the condition of some Ramjas Schools remain dire. Just see the difference between two Ramjas Schools in Karol Bagh. Or Ramjas School in Chawri Bazar which pastes advertisements on walls for admission.
